Truck and two cars in accident on N4 near Walter Sisulu Street off-ramp
Injured passengers were taken to hospital.
Three friends sustained injuries after being involved in a car accident this morning.
Two cars were behind a truck on the N4 when the accident occurred just after the Walter Sisulu Street off-ramp.
One of the cars, a grey VW Polo, had crashed into another Polo, and then overturned.
Four friends in the grey car were travelling from KwaGuqa to Phola, when a truck allegedly changed lanes, causing them to drive into the other car.
“The car overturned and slid for quite a distance. I was traumatised, and I could see that one of my friends was badly injured,” said one of the passengers.
The three injured friends were taken to hospital for further medical care, while the last one remained behind.
The truck drove away.
First responders rushed to the scene to clear up.
