eMalahleni beauties grab top spots in annual Miss and Mrs Nkangala International Village beauty pageant

It is official, eMalahleni has the most beautiful girls.

“The show must go on,” said well known model teacher and motivational speaker Andries du Preez.

He hosted the crowning ceremony of the annual Miss and Mrs Nkangala International Village on April 23 in Middelburg.

Beauties from across the Nkangala district participated in the pageant program, which consisted of virtual and social media challenges, charity involvement, interviews, and ramp judging.

As per tradition, the finalists represent their heritage or culture during the pageant, and this saw a spectacular, colourful production.

The winners of the 2022 pageant received an invitation to represent their heritage and origin on the international stage in 2023.

The results are as follows:

Little Miss Nkangala International Village – Lethokuhle Jiyane from Middelburg.

Junior Miss Nkangala International Village – Lebo Mohapi from Middelburg.

Teen Miss Nkangala International Village – Anke Heyns from Middelburg.

Miss Nkangala International Village – Bronwyn de Wet from eMalahleni.

Mrs. Nkangala International Village – Thandi Thinane from eMalahleni.

Tow of the main award winners is from eMalahleni.

Vicky Giokos from eMalahleni was crowned Beauty International and Lourinda Smit also from eMalahleni was crowned World Heritage Queen.

The crown for Environmental Youth Queen went to Cebokuhle Matsebula from Middelburg.
