The Xeroderma Pigmentosum Society is adding a bit of a twist to their camp at Olifants River Lodge this year.
They are hosting a Mr, Mrs and Miss XP Winter Glitz on July 30.
This is a charity event being held to help kids with Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP), a rare genetic order that causes skin cancer in kids.
“If you cannot join us there, you can submit online entries,” the society invited.
Registration starts at 12:00 and the competition starts at 13:00. The dress code is winter casual wear and the entry fee is R300.
Models must walk a one and a half t-ramp. There are different age categories to compete in.
Online videos must be submitted before the time.
Stunning crowns, beautiful sashes and amazing prizes are up for grabs.
Come early and spend the day at this beautiful lodge. There is so much to do for kids and adults. You can even sleep over if you drive from far.
As it is a charity event, the lodge has given everyone entering the lodge that is part of the pageant a reduced entry fee of R60 per day visit.
