Police looking for Ndlandla

RDP fraud is escalating in eMalahleni.

Witbank Police are looking for Ndlandla Mdaka who can help them with some information about an alleged RDP house scam.

Police said Mdaka (40) also uses the alias Lifty Mtombizodwa Tshabangu.

It is alleged that scammers show potential buyers empty RDP houses in Siyanqoba, Klarinet and surrounding areas in Emalahleni.

“The suspects use fake accounts from Emalahleni Local Municipality to convince potential buyers,” Captain Eddie Hall, police spokesperson explained.

He said it is expected that a local lawyer’s firm is used to draw up fake contracts whereupon deposits are made.

Anyone who has information regarding Mdaka is requested to contact the investigating officer Lieutenant Colonel Koena Sifamela on 071 469 3631.
