Robbers are looking for bakkies in eMalahleni
Captain Eddie Hall advises vehicle owners to disable their vehicles when leaving them unattended for an extended period.

Bakkie owners are urged to be vigilant and take the necessary precautions to protect their vehicles.
Drivers should always be aware of their surroundings, especially when driving at night or in isolated areas.
This comes after a Toyota Hilux was stolen in Klarinet only a day after the tracker was installed.
According to the victim (39), four unknown male suspects broke into his home and demanded the keys to all his vehicles.
It is said that the victim was with his wife and family during the unfortunate incident, “I was sitting with my sons when four masked men broke into my home and threatened my family with firearms,” the victim said.
He went on to say that the suspects told him that they had come to fetch the bakkie and forced him to bring the keys to all of his vehicles.
The victim said that the other two suspects remained inside the home and stole two laptops, cellphones, clothes, and sneakers before they fled the scene with his black Toyota Hilux.
On Saturday, November 11 at around 19:30 four armed suspects stole a victim’s bakkie.
Toyota Hilux stolen in Klarinet to exercise caution at parking areas and report unknown and suspicious persons or motor vehicles to the police.
He went on to advise that vehicle owners must disable their vehicles when leaving them unattended for an extended period.
“Install an anti-theft device or system on your vehicle as a deterrent. Avoid leaving or parking vehicles for a long time in areas or streets that are not well-lit. Ensure that all vehicles and motorbikes are locked and safely parked inside the premises,” Hall emphasised.
