JoJo tanks set up to get water to residents

So far seven JoJo tanks have been installed.

Seven JoJo tanks have been installed so far in an urgent drive to get water to residents of eMalahleni after the city’s water system crashed last week.

In Ward 34 you will find JoJo tanks at the corner of Steenkamp Street and Enties Street, Steve Bantu Biko Street and Hans Strydom Street, and Nita Street and Mariska Street.

In Ward 18 JoJo tanks were installed on the corner of Universe Street and Gasel Street at the Reyno Ridge Shopping Centre and Paul Sauer Street and Da Vince Street at Ben Fleur Boulevard Shopping Centre.

Ward 33, you can find JoJo tanks at the corner of Steve Bantu Biko Street and Birkholtz Street and on the corner of Dixon Street and Springbok Street.

“We are still waiting for delivery of 10 more JoJo tanks,” said the municipal spokesperson, Mr Lebo Mofokeng.
