Lota chair Gabriel Ngomane debunks death rumors

Gabriel Ngomane denies rumors of his death, assures people he’s safe, and asks them not to believe or share false information

Chairperson of the Local Taxi Association (Lota), Mr Gabriel Ngomane, dismissed false death reports on social media, confirming his well-being. Ngomane, who runs a taxi business in eMalahleni, revealed that he had received numerous calls regarding his alleged death.

Despite the rumors, on Wednesday, January 31 he asserted that he was not aware of any plans to harm him.

Ngomane acknowledged a potential link between the false reports and a recent incident in Delmas, where a 34-year-old taxi boss and his bodyguard were victims of a drive-by shooting.

He reassured the public of his vitality and urged them to refrain from spreading inaccurate information.
