Phineas Phaho, the missing Transnet worker, was found dead.

Police have confirmed that Phineas Matsomagae Phaho, a 40-year-old assistant train driver who went missing last December, was found dead at a mortuary in Gauteng.

Despite weeks of extensive search efforts, the outcome is now confirmed as a somber one.
