Still no indication when water will be back

The water in areas in eMalahleni is still isolated.

Repairs are still underway at Point B Reservoir.

According to the municipal communication desk, draining took a while and water was still gushing out earlier today.

The reservoir had to be isolated because of a leaking pipe.

“However the pipes have been reached and repairs have commenced, without any unforeseen problems that may occur,” The communication team posted on Facebook.

The repairs should be done later today.

The communication desk did not say when water would return to empty taps.
