Rising star Perbo Zia from village roots to musical greatness

Perbo Zia's music reflects his journey that aims for others to inspire and chase their dreams

Meet Perbo Zia, a 23-year-old artist from Nhlangano, Eswatini, currently based in eMalahleni.Thandolwethu Mahlalela (Perbo Zia) is making waves in the music industry with his inspirational story and skilled productions.

His career began in 2016, when his older brother, a music producer, brought him to the studio. Since then, music has served as his passion and driving force.

He manages African Trap Studios, where he produces and creates his music.

Perbo Zia’s creative process is deeply personal, drawing from his emotions and experiences.

His music reflects his journey, aiming for others to inspire and chase their dreams despite adversity. He describes his sounds as ‘a pillar that carries hope’, born from his village roots and determination to succeed.

With his current hit ‘Lujulile’ gaining traction on digital channels, Perbo Zia is on track for stardom. He wishes to collaborate with Yung Swiss, a musician who has inspired him throughout his musical career, “In the next decade, I envision myself at the helm of a leading recording label, empowering upcoming artists from village areas to achieve their musical talents,” he said.

With his talent, drive, and passion, the future looks bright for this rising star.
