Contractor plans to blast in eMalahleni residential area as construction is hampered by hard rock

A community meeting is called for this evening at 18:00 to discuss the planned blasting in Christiaan de Wet Street.

Homeowners, tenants, and business owners are invited to attend the meeting that will focus on the bulk supply phase two project.

The contractors are considering blasting in the area as hard rock is making it difficult for them to carry on with the project.

All the role-players will be present to answer questions.

The meeting will be held at Victory Family Church on the corner of Claredon Street and Louis Trichardt Street.
