Become a friend of the nature reserve

The entity’s annual general meeting is taking place on August 14.

Friends of the Nature Reserve (FWNR) invites its members to their AGM.

Non-members are also welcome to attend the meeting on August 14 at St Margaret’s Anglican Church on 80 Woltemade Street in Die Heuwel.
The meeting will start at 18:30.

This is an excellent opportunity for the community of eMalahleni to learn more about FWNR and get involved.
The 900 hectare Witbank Nature Reserve, situated on the outskirts of eMalahleni and bordering the Witbank Dam, offers grassland, wetland, and woodland areas home to various wildlife and birdlife.

“We look forward to seeing you and updating you on our past activities and plans for the coming year. A new committee will also be elected,” was the word from the committee.
