Teen sensation Dumi Matjie redefines beauty and ambition

Stunning teen sensation, Dumi is seeking help from the community to continue her modelling adventure

At age 18, Dumi Matjie is not only a stunning model, but also a shining example of determination and passion.

This eMalahleni teenager takes the fashion world by storm with her unique look, captivating personality, and inspiring story.

Dumi’s road to fame began in 2023 when she was crowned Miss Teen eMalahleni’s second princess.

She then advanced to the Miss Teenager South Africa 2024 semi-finals and was chosen as the Face of Mpumalanga 2024.

Her strong resume and attractive features captured the interest of leading designers, photographers, and brands.

Dumi credits her role models, the late Mrs Bongi and Noku Mbonje, for inspiring her to pursue her dreams. She also thanks her mother for her unwavering support, “My mom believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself,” Dumi said.

What sets Dumi apart, is her dedication to using her platform for good.

She hopes to encourage young people, particularly girls, to accept their individuality and achieve their aspirations, “I want to show the world that beauty comes in many forms and that our differences are what makes us special.”

 

Dumi is appreciative of the support she has received and encourages her supporters to keep voting for her, “Your votes would be highly appreciated and will make a huge change,” she said.

 

Her ultimate ambition is to become Miss South Africa, which she believes she can achieve through hard work and commitment, “See it, then be it!” she exclaimed.

Despite overcoming obstacles such as securing funding, Dumi remains dedicated to her ambitions.

She is seeking help from the community to continue her modelling adventure and is appreciative of any support she can get, “I want to use my platform to motivate and inspire others,” she said.

With her star continuing to rise, Dumi’s passion and dedication are an inspiration to us all.
