More than 50mm of rain fell in Blancheville.

A sudden heavy downpour flooded several low-water bridges in eMalahleni.

The low-water bridges in Blancheville and on the R555 were a no-go earlier as rainwater gushed over them.

The OR Tambo-bend was also flooded.

Motorists are urged to drive with caution, especially on Gordon Road and the R555 where a lot of mud washed onto the roads.
