New dates for previously postponed outreach meetings have been scheduled

eMalahleni outreach meetings are back on track.

Emalahleni Local Municipality has confirmed the resumption of all outreach meetings (Izimbizo) that were cancelled last weekend.

The new schedule includes wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, 23, 29 which will take place on April 12; wards 12, 15, 19, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, taking place on April 13; and wards 18, 20, 22, 24, 33, and 34, scheduled for April 15.

The municipality spokesperson Lebo Mofokeng explained, “We had a meeting with all stakeholders, but may not want to divulge more information since this matter is sensitive.”

However, he assured that the meetings will be resuming as advertised.
