Police woman stable after being shot during ATM bombing in eMalahleni

Policewoman shot in ATM bombing at local filling station is recovering in hospital.

The police have confirmed that the police officer, who was shot in an ATM bombing incident earlier today, is stable.

This comes after information received earlier that the officer was attending to a robbery call at a local filling station at Voortrekker Street when she was allegedly shot in the right leg.

The police reported that she was rushed to the hospital and was admitted to Life Cosmos Hospital Intensive Care Unit due to severe loss of blood.

Investigations on the robbery are still ongoing.
