The WAU Soirée highlighted the spirit of love and service

Humanity and hope takes center stage at WAU Easter celebration

In a world that often feels hurried and fragmented, the ladies of the WAU Soirée branch, found a profound moment of connection and reflection during their early Easter celebration.

Gathering for their monthly meeting, they were united by faith, humility, and the incredible act of servitude demonstrated by hosts Magda Prinsloo and Karin du Plessis.

Magda and Karin, with hearts open to the symbolism of Easter, chose to wash the feet of each attendee – a gesture that is deeply rooted in the teachings of Christ.

As Jesus washed the feet of his disciples, so they extended this act to the ladies present, embodying the spirit of service, love, and equality.

As the celebration concluded, the impact lingered, not just in the minds of those gathered but in their actions as they carried the spirit of Easter into their homes, workplaces, and communities.

Soirée’s meeting wasn’t just an event; it was a reminder of humanity’s potential for kindness and unity.
