‘Men of Destiny’ leads charge against social ills in eMalahleni schools
The ‘My Child is Your Child’ initiative aims to combat social issues in local schools.
Emalahleni Men of Destiny, led by Pastor Ignatius Mahlangu, has embarked on a mission to tackle social issues plaguing local schools.
The programme, aptly themed ‘My Child is Your Child,’ aims to combat drugs, alcohol abuse, bullying, teenage pregnancy, and bad behaviour in schools.
Every morning at 06:30, until May 30, prayer and preaching sessions will be held at school gates in KwaGuaqa Extensions.
Mahlangu emphasised the importance of community involvement, urging parents and community members to join hands in this fight.
“We invite all parents and community members to join us in this noble cause. Together, we can create a safe and supportive environment for our children to thrive,” Mahlangu said.
“By working together, we can address these social ills and ensure our children receive the care and guidance they deserve.”
