The man was hit by a train shortly after his wife’s death.

The Witbank Police is investigating an inquest and a murder case following the death of a 37-year-old after he had allegedly murdered his wife.
According to the police, the couple was undergoing the process of separation at the time of the incidents.

The 34-year-old woman’s body was discovered in a pool of blood on the evening of September 26 in her house in Old Coronation.
According to the Witbank Police spokesperson, Captain Eddie Hall, the police received a tip-off from a neighbour, and when they arrived on the scene, they found the lifeless body of the woman on the floor on September 26.

“The deceased was inside the house, on the floor with blood around her,” said Hall.

She was hacked to death.

According to Hall, an inquest has been opened, and a police investigation is still ongoing.
