Girl found in Middelburg is not missing teen Kaitlin Coetzer — search still on

The girl found in Middelburg this morning is not Kaitlin Coetzer. She is still missing.

The search for 17-year-old Kaitlin Coetzer continues after it was confirmed this morning that the girl found in Middelburg is not her.

Confusion arose when a local tow-in driver from Middelburg, Louwtjie Swart of Louw’s Tow-in, believed he had spotted Kaitlin.

It was later confirmed that the girl he approached was not Kaitlin.

Kaitlin’s aunt, Claudine Klingenberg, said the family is still extremely concerned.

Kaitlin reportedly has mental health issues and has not been taking her medication, which may affect how she responds to people or situations.

A significant detail is Kaitlin’s obsession with adopting cats. Her family believes she may approach anyone who has cats, which could be a crucial factor in finding her.

Kaitlin is 1.68 metres tall, has a large build, has dark brown hair, and wears glasses. She was last seen wearing dark pants, a pink t-shirt, and black sneakers.

If you have any information regarding Kaitlin’s whereabouts, please contact her aunt immediately at 072 479 5419.
