Local schools showcase rugby skills in 7s rugby tournament

The top teams will compete at the upcoming final tournament, where the true champion of the league will be determined.

Laerskool Taalfees hosted an exciting basic 7s rugby tournament, bringing together various teams from local schools.

The tournament on October 21 showcased young talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship among the 16 teams that participated.

The tournament, which kicked off with great enthusiasm, saw the teams clashing in a series of exciting matches.
After a series of tight matches, the tournament was reduced to a final match between Robert Carruthers Primary School (RCS) and Onverwacht, which RCS dominated with a 12-10 win.

The true champions of the 7s League will be determined at the final tournament at Klipfontein, where the top teams will gather to vie for the coveted title and seal their position at the top of the log.

“The tournament was a resounding success; we had a great day of rugby,” one of the organisers said.

The tournament featured fierce competition from all teams.
