Mauser and Veronica snag first place in Kusa Champs

Their championship run was a masterclass in discipline and partnership, where they flawlessly executed a challenging set of exercises.

A local dog and his owner aced it at the Kusa Championships.

Veronica Ferreira and K9 Mauser achieved a first place in the beginner companion dog working trials that took place on October 26 in Bapsfontein.

Their winning run showcased a high level of discipline and partnership, mastering a challenging series of exercises, including: heel on lead, recall to handler, send him away 15m, retrieve a dumbbell, down stay for five minutes in sight, area search in which an object must be found and controlled agility.

“I am over the moon with the duo’s performance. This takes a lot of teamwork and dedication,” said Michelle Meyer from Witbank K9 Club, celebrating the pair’s exceptional achievement.
