With the release of the 2025 National Senior Certificate (NSC) results fast approaching, matriculants across the country are being reminded of easy and convenient ways to access their results without unnecessary stress or long queues.

The Department of Basic Education has confirmed that the national matric results will be officially released on January 13, with learners able to access their individual results from schools and approved platforms on the same day.

As anticipation and anxiety build among learners and parents, digital platforms are offering hassle-free options to receive results quickly and securely.

SMS Results Option

Learners can register to receive their matric results directly on their mobile phones via SMS by following these steps:

  • Send your ID number and exam number to 35658 or 45856.
  • Wait for a confirmation message
  • Once results are released, your results will be sent directly to your phone.

This option is particularly useful for learners who may have limited internet access or who want to avoid congestion at schools on results day.

Check Results Online

Matriculants can also view their results online by visiting www.mycareers.co.za.
By entering their exam number and other required details, learners can access their results instantly once they are available.

Learners are advised to ensure that all personal details are correct and to keep their information handy to avoid delays when accessing results.
