Executive Mayor of Emalahleni Local Municipality, Clr Vusi Nhlapho, formally participated in the first Sunday service of the year at The Green Mountain of God in Ward 9, demonstrating his commitment to the best interests of the city, especially its women and children.

The service provided a platform for collective prayer and reflection, reinforcing the importance of placing Christ at the centre of personal and communal life as the municipality begins 2026.

During the engagement, Mayor Nhlapho emphasised the protection of women and children, the promotion of social cohesion, and the vital role of men as responsible leaders and positive father figures in their families and communities.

This engagement forms part of the municipality’s ongoing efforts to strengthen values, unity, and moral responsibility among residents.
