Siyanqoba Secondary School is doing school God’s way this term as they reopen in prayer

The prayer was led by a local feeding scheme as a way to promote positivity among learners, staff, and the community.

Siyanqoba Secondary School in Emalahleni recently held a prayer session, led by the Smart City Daily Feeding Scheme and local pastors.

According to Sibusiso Gwambe, founder of Smart City Daily Feeding Scheme, the event focused on promoting safety, success, and positivity for learners, educators, and the community. He further emphasised that they aimed to provide spiritual guidance and support to our learners, staff, and stakeholders.

“As you’ve noted, we’ve seen concerning incidents of violence, substance abuse, and disrespect towards educators. We believe a spiritual intervention can help address these issues and promote a positive, safe environment,” Sibusiso said.

The event brought together learners, educators, and community members, all eager to make a difference.
