Gomolemo Baloyi (30) is among the Top 10 finalists in the Mr Mpumalanga 2026 competition.

Already a former Mr Emalahleni, Gomolemo is now aiming for the provincial crown at the grand event in May.

“I’m proud to represent eMalahleni, and I’m asking my community to support me,” said Baloyi.“Together, we can bring the crown home and show that our community stands strong.”

But Baloyi’s mission goes beyond the pageant stage. He advocates for learning challenges and learning differences, using his personal journey to inspire and uplift young men facing similar struggles.

“My goal is to create awareness, promote acceptance, and provide safe spaces where people with learning challenges feel supported, not judged,” he said. “If my story can inspire even one young man to overcome his challenges, it’s worth it.”

Baloyi encourages everyone in eMalahleni and beyond to rally behind him.

“This is not just my journey; it’s our community’s journey. With your support, we can bring the crown home and make a positive impact on the lives of the youth in our province,” he added.
