The bond between a handler and their dog is remarkable.

Locals can now see firsthand the synergy between the dogs and handlers as eMalahleni hosts the regional Mpumalanga dog sports competition in July.

This will be the first official dog sport competition hosted in eMalahleni.

“This will be a very special event for our province, and we are expecting competitors from different areas, including Mpumalanga, Gauteng (with various branches), and KwaZulu-Natal,” said Rudolph van Rooyen, interim regional brand coordinator.

The competition is taking place on July 4 at 07:30 at Plot 83, Kromdraai.

There is no entry fee for spectators.
