Churchgoer robbed of jewellery and cellphone along N12
Police urge the public, particularly pedestrians, to avoid walking around with valuable items.
A woman returning from church was robbed of jewellery and her cellphone after getting off a taxi along the N12 near Tasbet on September 13.
According to police, the victim had just crossed the road at around 13:20 when two men approached her.

The woman said they grabbed her arm and pulled out her earrings worth thousands, a watch, and a cellphone, before fleeing.
A case was opened, and investigations are ongoing.
“We urge the public to be vigilant, especially when they are walking on foot, and to try not to carry valuable items with them,” said Warrant Officer David Ratau from Witbank SAPS.
