Something exciting is coming to eMalahleni
It is busy at Frans Kloof where construction of a family orientated venue is in full force.
Hold on to your seats, eMalahleni is about to step up.
A new development is on the cards, but this time it is for the whole family.
Frans Kloof is in the making.
“This will be a venue for residents,” said Mr Dick Jacobs, who is one of the driving forces behind the initiative.
Frans Kloof is adjacent to Wildside, nestled in the arms of the Olifants River.
It is full steam ahead as construction is busy on the children’s play park, enough space for a flea market boasting local produce, a venue for among others anti-poaching campaigns and even some farming to try and grow coffee beans.
The routes for walking-, running- and bicycle trails are also part of the layout of the development.
“This development will be totally off the electricity grid,” Dick said.
He said if all goes according to plan, there might be a proper Christmas market with Christmas lights and the whole shebang.
“The people investing in this project are doing so with the right heart and attitude ‒ we want to give back to eMalahleni.”
