Nkangala Business Chamber celebrates year-end in style

The year-end celebration brought together members, partners, and supporters for a morning of breakfast, networking, and an engaging programme that highlights their commitment to driving impact in the Nkangala region.

The Nkangala Business Chamber recently had its year-end celebration – a day to reflect on the dynamic year they had.
On November 7, the Nkangala Business Chamber gathered at New Life Church to celebrate a year of collaboration, progress, and resilience.

The programme commenced with a moment of reflection and gratitude as the chamber president, Dan Skhosana, and vice president, Charles Khuhlane, opened with a heartfelt prayer, referring to it as the standard procedure.

On behalf of the Executive Mayor of Emalahleni Local Municipality, Clr Vusi Nhlapho, the MMC DDP, Clr Nombuso Mokwana, addressed the gathering, applauding the chamber for a productive year and expressing genuine enthusiasm for the year ahead.

The CEO of Nkangala Business Chamber, Anél Pieterse, took the stage to thank the chamber’s dedicated board and volunteers for their valuable contributions. She reflected on a busy and productive year and outlined the events calendar for 2026, inviting members to engage actively in upcoming initiatives that will strengthen their business ecosystem and bolster local opportunity.

The celebration also unpacked a new marketing opportunity for businesses in the Nkangala region. The initiative promises to unlock greater visibility, collaboration, and mutually beneficial outcomes for local enterprises, reinforcing our chamber’s role as a catalyst for regional development.

“We were honoured to welcome Shereen Hunter, a renowned businesswoman and president of the Rotary E-Club of South Africa, among other esteemed roles. Her practical insights on daring to be unforgettable in business were both inspirational and actionable,” said Anél.

“As we close out 2025, the Nkangala Business Chamber wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to our members and supporters for an incredible year. Your engagement, trust, and partnership have been the cornerstone of our success, and we are deeply grateful for your ongoing commitment. We look forward to an unforgettable 2026, full of opportunities to strengthen our business community, amplify local voices, and drive sustainable impact across Nkangala,” said Anel.

The session concluded with Roann Vetter guiding a lively close, followed by a networking lunch where attendees showed deep celebration.
