Learners and a teacher under medical observation after bee stings at school

Five learners and a teacher are under medical observation after bee stings at Clewer Primary School.

Five learners and a teacher from Clewer Primary School are under medical observation after being stung by bees this morning.

Shaun Motsoeneng, provincial organiser for COSAS, said, “The learners and the teacher were taken to Siphosensimbi Clinic under medical observation.”

The incident reportedly happened after some learners allegedly poked the beehive, which is said to be situated in a standstill project at the school at a storage container located there.

This is a developing story. More details will be provided as information becomes available.
