2 killed, several injured in week of incidents

Multiple shootings and stabbings leave two dead and several injured in just one week.

Police investigated a series of serious incidents in just one week; two men were killed, and others were injured.

In Kwa-Guqa Extension 10, a man was injured during a dispute at a residence where people were socialising and allegedly drinking alcohol on April 4.

According to police, a disagreement with a female neighbour escalated after the victim asked visiting individuals to leave the yard.
The man was stabbed in the neck with a beer bottle.

In Clewer, a man was shot during an armed robbery on April 9. According to police, two armed men approached the victim while he was walking, demanded his cellphone, and after taking it, moved a short distance away before one of the men opened fire.

In Hlalanikahle, a man was found dead on April 7 after community members reported hearing gunshots during the evening. Police discovered the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
Witnesses reported seeing a white vehicle speeding away shortly after the shooting. Investigators believe the incident may be linked to a hijacking or vehicle-related crime, but the motive is still under investigation.
