eMalahleni Magistrate’s Court partners with law firm for free wills campaign
Court officials and attorneys joined hands in educating residents in Kwa-Guqa on the importance of having a valid, legally binding will.
The eMalahleni Magistrate’s Court partnered with Ursula Ntuli Attorneys to offer residents free will-drafting services and estate planning education.
As part of the National Free Will-drafting Awareness Campaign, which ran from September 14 to 18, court officials joined Ursula Ntuli Attorneys in Kwa-Guqa on September 17 to assist community members in drafting legally valid wills.

“Having a will is of the utmost importance. It is an act of care, responsibility and love towards those you leave behind,” said Nokuthula Masilela from the Magistrate’s Court. “A will helps protect your loved ones, provides clarity regarding your wishes, and assists in ensuring that your assets and legacy are dealt with according to your intentions.”
By the end of the day, many community members were assisted and left with a wealth of knowledge on the importance of having a properly drafted and legally valid will.
