Swallows’ Mokgothu to join Chiefs

Sdefender Levy Mokgothu is close to penning in a deal with Kaizer Chiefs that could involve at least two players moving in the opposing direction.

The Amakhosi have been on the looking to add extra depth in their left-back position as they are dry of options.

Tsepo Masilela and Jimmy Jambo, who has not completely recovered from a horrific injury that he picked up in 2012, are the more experienced players out of the three options that also includes Simphiwe Mtsweni.

Mokgothu, however, is a player that has left Stuart Baxter and company impressed as he has impressed with the Dube Birds since his arrival from the Swaziland Premier League.

“It is a possibility … there is a 90 percent chance,” says Zeca Marques when asked about his move to Chiefs.

“However, we still have some options even if he happens to go.”
