Cleaning as a way of life

Another cleaning campaign driven by members of the Ward Waste Committee (WWC) undertaken at Vosman.

WWC members working jointly with ward 8 members in a job creation programme, received support from Scholand Colliery, in the form of tools.

“We are cleaning the streets of the municipality, bringing back community mind set to remember freedom day. Remembering our leaders who fought for freedom of the people. Leaders like Zeph Mothopeng, Oliver Tambo, Nelson Mandela, Robert Sobukwe, Chris Hani, Steve Biko, Jeff Masemola and other leaders who brought peace in our country. There are other brothers and sisters who fought and shed blood for this democratic country. Let us remember our freedom and remain community conscious to strive together to bring a change and a better life for all. The Vosman ward 8 decided to play a vital role to sensitise communities, officials and the municipalities. To the provincial leadership we say remember the freedom we fought for and the unity we strive for also remain conscious,” said Mr Kleinboy Masemola an official of Ward Waste Committee (WWC).

The ward 8 community connected with Mr Masemola for assistance and through Scholand Colliery they managed to complete the cleaning programme. They also thanked Scholand Colliery for their assistance and support.
