Bravo set to rock the lounge

5 FM DJ Dino Bravo is set to rock uMoya Lounge on Saturday, 29 August.

Born in Angola, his music inspiration is strongly embedded in Samba, Latino and African rhythms he is accustomed to.

Bravo caught the attention of DJ Fresh at the Intersections nightclub in Randburg.

Bravo’s unique style of mixing and interesting song selection impressed DJ Fresh and this led to an invitation to the YFM show.

Exposure on-air resulted in the concept of ‘mega-mix’ and Bravo gained a following of fans across South Africa.

Soon after, he released his first CD entitled ‘Bravomania’ in 2003.

This platinum album included collaborations with some of South Africa’s finest musical talent.
