Donation boost for Unizulu

Computer donation for students

THE University of Zululand (Unizulu) received an early Christmas gift when Absa donated 20 computers and R50 000 in cash to the institution.

The computers will be used to empower students with computer skills and increase their knowledge of word processing when doing assignments and conducting research for their study projects.

‘It is partnerships of this calibre that the university seeks to embrace, strengthen and guard jealously as it continues to strategically position itself as a viable and credible 21st century institution of higher learning,’ said Unizulu Vice Chancellor Prof Fikile NM Mazibuko.

Provincial Head for Absa Business Banking, Ravi Pillay, said, ‘Acting as a conduit to assist students at the University of Zululand with skills upliftment and enabling them to prosper, is central to our commitment to making citizenship real for our stakeholders.’
