Truck ploughs into 6 vehicles on N2
A man died attempting to escape the crash near Pongola.
ONE person was killed yesterday afternoon when a truck ploughed into six vehicles on the N2 near Pongola.
The accident occurred at a construction site about 8km from Pongola.
A man was killed after he left his vehicle and attempted to escape as the accident was unfolding. It is believed he was hit by one of the vehicles that had been struck by the truck.
KZN Emergency Medical Services paramedics attended to seven other people at the scene.
