Soft drinks inspector murdered at Dukuduku
One of the suspects turned state witness and spilled the beans on three more suspects
THE Mtubatuba police recently arrested two suspects for the murder of a soft drinks inspector, who was gunned down at Edladleni Tuck Shop, Khula Village in Dukuduku.
According to the police report, the inspector was taking pictures of the soft drinks’ fridge, when two suspects entered the shop and one of them drew a gun and shot the deceased.
They were arrested and appeared at Mtubatuba Magistrate’s Court on 20 June, and again on 27 June for bail application, which was denied.
They were remanded in custody, and will appear again on 29 July.
One of the suspects has turned state witness and has made a confession, spilling the beans on three more suspects, who were arrested recently on the same charge.
