A KWASOMKHELE man shot his fiancé and then killed himself on Sunday.
The KwaMsane police reported they received a complaint about the shooting in the KwaSomkhele area, near Msiziwamakrestu.
When they arrived at the scene they found two bodies.
According to a witness, a police officer, Mandlenkosi Ngema (41), shot and killed his fiancé and later shot himself.
The motive of the homicide is unknown at the moment, and the KwaMsane SAPS have opened a murder docket for investigation.
