THE Empangeni Regional Court on Tuesday sentenced rapist Senzo Masuku (23) to 10 years imprisonment.
He also received another three years for attempted rape.
On 19 October a 57 year-old victim walking home near Emplotini was attacked and raped by Masuku.
He also attempted to rape another 58-year-old woman who was on her way to church, but fortunately an approaching vehicle caused him to run away.
Investigations linked him to another case of attempted rape opened at Empangeni SAPS.
