New councillor appointed to Jozini Municipality

Councillor Dingeni Jobe's appointment comes after the planned resignation of Councillor Siyabonga Myeni, who is also employed by the Department of Health at Bethesda Hospital

A NEW councillor joined the Jozini Municipality after he was sworn in by Magistrate Thamotharan Moodley of the uBombo Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 14 August.

Councillor Dingeni Jobe’s appointment comes after the planned resignation of Councillor Siyabonga Myeni, who is also employed by the Department of Health at Bethesda Hospital.

Councillor Jobe is born and bred at kwaJobe, Ward 4. He promises to serve and provide an extension to the community and work hand in hand with current ward councillors.

The Speaker, Cllr Londeka Gumbi welcomed Cllr Jobe to the council and took the gentleman through Jozini Municipality’s Council Code of Conduct.
