Donate a surf board and change a life

The board drive, presented by the Positive Vibe Warrior foundation in partnership with Michael February, has arrived in South Africa

SOUTH African communities can change lives of many disadvantaged children by donating surfboards.

Following the successful American surfboard drive which assisted many children, the Board Drive has finally reached the Mzansi shores.

Presented by the Positive Vibe Warrior Foundation in partnership with Michael February, the programme calls on all South Africans to donate their boards which will benefit Waves for Change and the Surfers Not Street Children organisations.

These organisations provide safe spaces, caring mentors and a provision of weekly surf therapy sessions to give vulnerable children the skills to cope with stress, build healing relationships and make positive life choices.

Donations can be made until 30 November and includes any surfboard, soft board or boogie board that is watertight.

In KZN donations can be dropped at:

Durban – Groundswell Ballito, Shop, 7 Boulevard Centre, Jack Powell Road; Bilt Surf, East Lane, South Beach.

Margate – Surf Action in Marine Drive.
