Municipality to release some land in Melmoth

THE Mthonjaneni Municipality is to make land available in Melmoth to boost development.

This was revealed by Mthonjaneni Mayor Sibonginkosi Biyela, who said the municipality has taken a decision to sell some portions of its land to residents interested in establishing businesses and building homes in town.

‘We have decided to give our residents an opportunity of owning land in town to promote development.

‘The decision was also taken to prevent land invasion and land grabs,’ Biyela said.

He urged the community to use this opportunity, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
