Three injured in N2 petrol station accident

One of the vehicles hit a petrol pump

THREE people were moderately injured in an accident at the Engen One Stop station on the N2 northbound carriageway earlier this afternoon (Sunday).

The incident occurred at about lunchtime, and involved three vehicles, one of which hit a petrol pump.

City of uMhlathuze Fire and Rescue were quickly on scene, as was Rural Metro and KwaZulu Private Ambulance Services whose paramedics treated the patients on scene and transported them to Ngwelezana Hospital.

The exact cause of the accident will be the subject of a police investigation.
