WATCH: Car ploughing into N2 petrol station forecourt caught on camera

Three vehicles and a petrol pump were damaged in the incident

THE moment a vehicle entered the Engen One Stop petrol station on the N2 northbound between eSikhaleni and Empangeni this afternoon (Sunday) was caught on the station’s CCTV.

The vehicle can be seen entering the busy forecourt at high speed and ramming into another vehicle before bouncing into a third.

A petrol pump was destroyed in the incident.

What could have been a disaster, considering the location of such an impact, was averted and emergency services, including City of uMhlathuze Fire and Rescue, arrived promptly on scene.

The injured were treated by KwaZulu Private Ambulance paramedics before being transported to Ngwelezana Hospital.
