DISCOVERY is conducting an ongoing survey regarding the safety and efficacy of its more than 1.2 million vaccinated members in comparison with its members who are not yet vaccinated.

When compared to members that are fully vaccinated with Pfizer BioNTech, the unvaccinated population has a five times higher risk of contracting Covid-19, and 20 times the risk of dying from the complications of a Covid-19 infection.
Zero vaccine-related deaths have been recorded.
The Pfizer vaccine reduces the risk of dying from complications of a Covid-19 infection by 94%, 14 days or more after receiving the second dose (and by 79% 14 days after receiving the first dose).
The vaccine reduces the risk of hospital admission following a Covid-19 infection by 92%, 14 days or more after receiving the second dose (and by 73% 14 days after receiving the first dose).
The risk of contracting Covid-19 is reduced by 79% 14 days or more after receiving the second dose.
For those who have recovered from Covid-19 and who are vaccinated, the risk of being admitted to hospital for another Covid-19 infection is reduced by 98%.
