WATCH: Four injured in Central Park intersection collison

Emergency and rescue services quickly rushed to the scene to treat the injured occupants, including a young child who sustained a minor injury.

FOUR people suffered moderate to serious injuries in a two-car collision at Empangeni’s Central Park intersection on Tuesday afternoon (today).

The accident occurred when a blue Ford made a right turn into Nkwanazi Street, colliding with a white Toyota moving in the direction of the Five Ways Shopping Mall.

Emergency and rescue services quickly rushed to the scene to treat the injured occupants, including a young child who sustained a minor injury.

Police confirmed two occupants suffered serious injuries, while two incurred moderate injuries.

Traffic officers controlled the subsequent traffic build-up while emergency personnel cleared the debris.
