Dice supports Christmas party for needy families

Gifts were handed over to Linzwa Foundation

In support of disadvantaged families, the Zululand Observer’s charity arm Dice (Do I Care Enough?) last week donated mountains of clothing, toys and food in KwaDlangezwa.

Gifts were handed over to Linzwa Foundation whose members will distribute them to needy residents at a community Christmas event which was held on Sunday.

Gifts included boxes of toys, 20 hygiene packs, and toiletry bags with cosmetics.

‘This is the second year we are hosting a Christmas gathering for mostly pensioners and children, and we are grateful for the contribution.

‘Dice has been part of our community programmes since we started the foundation, and they continue to assist us in making a difference in our community.

‘Not only are we grateful for the support, but we are thrilled that we now have things to make our party a success,’ said foundation founder Lindiwe Dube.
