Missing person sought by police

Mondlo police are appealing to members of the community for assistance with regards to missing person, Bhara Joseph Selepe (60) from KwaGinqa.

MONDLO police are appealing to members of the community for assistance with regards to missing person, Bhara Joseph Selepe (60) from KwaGinqa.

Selepe was last seen on Wednesday, 3 November by his girlfriend, who stated that they were expected to meet each other after collecting his pension money at the Sassa offices but he never showed up.

‘She proceeded to look for him at his homestead where she knocked on the door but there was no answer.

‘His relatives assisted and forced open the door at his homestead, but there was nobody inside. He has not returned home since.

‘He was last seen wearing grey trousers, black shoes, a red-and-white shirt, and a green short sleeve jacket with a powder blue hat.

‘He is dark in complexion, of medium build, and is average in height,’ said police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbhele. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Constable Khumalo on 073 4807951 / 034 3267100 or Crime Stop 08600 10111.
